Stacey Schuham Kramer

Stacey's career in branding began in 1988 at Chiat/Day SF, where she worked in account management servicing clients including G. Heileman Breweries (Rainier Beer), Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, Montgomery Ward and Atari. She joined Lexicon Branding in Sausalito, CA in 1991 where she advanced her name generation skills, as part of a team producing powerful names including Pentium®, Zima® and PowerBook®. Stacey worked from 1993 - 1994 managing Montgomery Ward advertising development for Saffer Cravit in Chicago.
Her cumulative experience in managing projects for clients ranging from pharmaceuticals to apparel to consumer packaged goods paved the way for the eventual founding of Word for Word in 1994, which became BrandPlay in 2004.
Some of her many clients have included Nike, Levi-Strauss, Walgreens, Walmart, Nestlé Beverage Company, Hewlett-Packard, Vivendi Universal, Chase Manhattan Bank, Price Waterhouse Coopers, AT&T, UPS, Symantec, TCI, and many others, including a multitude of start-up companies. With over 20 years of experience in advertising, branding, and name development in a hundred different industries, Stacey brings an experienced perspective to any brand.
Stacey has degrees in Economics and Communications from Stanford University.
She is a passionate brand evangelist and consumer of brands.
